Discover a new way to share your reports

Reduce your licensing costs by up to 90%, democratize access to your reports, empower your users or customers and promote your company's visual identity in the reports

WHAT IS POWER EMBEDDED?

A web portal that lets you share Power BI reports

The portal uses Embedded or Fabric capacity licensing, where you pay a fixed amount for the capacity and which does not vary as the number of users who will view your reports increases.

Monthly savings with our solution can reach 90%.

This allows more people to view the reports without increasing the monthly licensing cost with Power BI.

The portal is self-administered, where the administrator will have full control over users, groups, permissions, folders, imported reports, colors, logo and much more.

    – Capacity License: From USD 150.00 (month)

See the table below for an estimated licensing cost comparison for each solution.

SCHEDULE A MEETINGSCHEDULE THE SETUP

* The minimum number of users on the platform is 20. If you use less than 20 users, you will pay the amount equivalent to 20 users.
* The cost per user for the portal is already included in the above price for Embedded and Fabric capabilities
* Embedded capacity prices were calculated using tier A1 as a reference.
* Fabric capacity prices were calculated using tier F2 as a reference.
* The lowest capacity Fabric (F2) is cheaper than the lowest capacity Embedded (A1) but has 4x fewer vCores.

* It will be necessary to analyze and evaluate the existing datasets on the client to validate if the Embedded A1 or Fabric F2 capabilities used in the above estimation are sufficient to process and render the current reports or if it will be necessary to optimize the models or use other complementary resources to support these processings.

Steps required to get started with Power Embedded

FORMAL ACCEPTANCE OF OUR PROPOSAL

The hiring process starts with the customer contacting us and showing interest. We will formalize a proposal and as soon as the client sends the acceptance, we start the negotiations for the configuration and integration of the portal.

CAPACITY AQUISITION

CONFIGURE AZURE

An important point is creating a service account in your company's Azure AD (Entra ID) and generating a password. This is the user that Power Embedded will use to communicate with reports published in Power BI. Only workspaces that this user has permission to will be imported.

POWER BI SERVICE CONFIGURATION

In order to be able to use Power Embedded, the workspaces that contain the reports that will be imported into the portal will need to be changed from “Workspace Pro” to “Workspace Premium (Embedded)” and it will be necessary to add the Power BI Embedded user as an administrator in these workspaces.

PORTAL CONFIGURATION

With everything ready, now just integrate Power Embedded to your Azure. This will be done by our consultants, identifying the user IDs and secrets created for the Portal in your Azure AD and entering this information in your portal. It is also in this step that we can configure the customer's personalized URL.

CREATING THE FIRST USER

To finalize the whole process, after the portal is configured and ready for use, we will create a first administrator user, who will be responsible for registering other users and thus start importing reports, creating groups, defining permissions and leaving the portal. ready for viewers to use.
